What size should I choose?
Each bonnet style fits slightly different, and therefore, they do have slightly different sizing recommendations.
We will do our best to help you decide what size is correct.
In EVERY case, though, the best way to know what size to order is to MEASURE your child's head circumference. We offer age ranges as a rough guideline but head shapes vary and children, even when "big" or "small" for their age can have widely varying head sizes. Age is NOT a reliable predictor.
Our Bonnets ,are exactly the same except for the choice of fabrics.
These run true to size. If in doubt, size UP.
We ship orders in 7-14 business days. If you need your bonnet FAST, though, please send us an email or make a note in your order and we will ship it as soon as possible
Please note that we cannot refund or reship orders that are lost or damaged in the mail or that are scanned and delivered but not received.

If your product is damaged or defective, it is covered by protectedroots.com. Please contact us right away; we will take care of you at no cost within the first 3 days.
Please note: We do NOT accept returns on bonnets that have been worn, washed, dampened, soiled, dirtied, exposed to pets, pet hair, strange odors, or smoke; please do not return your bonnet if your child has worn the bonnet even once (we can tell!). If you try on the bonnet, and it is dirtied in the process, we cannot accept a return; please try on for size when your child is clean and dry, and when food is not present. Returned bonnet that are soiled will be documented with photographs, and then donated to charity, and will not be refunded.
How do we use your personal information?
We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations).

We never expect that there will be a problem. But we're human and our items are handmade. Every once in a while, a stinker of a snap or an off-kilter seam slips through, even though every single bonnet is triple checked for quality.
No matter what the problem is, if you're not happy, we're not happy. It's that simple.
And so, our bonnets are totally guaranteed against manufacturing defects. Shrinkage, wash fading, and color-bleeding when exposed to hair chemicals or products of any type are not considered manufacturer defects.

If it's something we didn't do quite right, we'll MAKE it right.
